Person that influences me the most and helping me in achieving success.

The person that influencing me the most in my decision making is my own self. Your confuse right? But based on my analysis and after doing reflection towards people around me I realized that the person who influencing me the most and helping me in achieving success is my self and not another person. At first I am also confuse about this thought until I realize that each person around me is my inspiration but not my motivation because the person that giving me motivation to continue and strive harder is my own self. And I am also the one who is making and choosing how to achieve success or to do a failure. Although the people around me, my family, peers and friends giving me an idea but in the end I am the person who is making the choices. Maybe your thinking how about celebrities or successful individuals? I just also seen them as role model but not as the person who can make my choices change. Though I can see through their past experiences and journeys in success but I always choosing the way that I know is best for me. In achieving success I am encouraging my self to be confident and stronger to face all the challenges of life. But I know encouraging and being confident is not enough to prove that I can achieve the things I want. How could I say so? After doing a self reflection I realized that everything doesn’t depend on how strong, confident, intelligent, and time oriented you are but it depend on your attitude and process on how to achieve success. My attitude is the one who is giving myself a motivation and making my choices to changed. I realized that everything starts with our nature of ability to concurred and surpass the hinder that our attitude will make. And my attitude will conduct me to be a better version of me or to be also my own failure.

Theme/meaning of the Story Lengua Para Diablo

The Lengua Para Diablo was an excerpt from Banana Heart Summer by Merlinda Bobis. The main theme and meaning behind the story was all about being unemployed. The story “Lengua Para Diablo” tells us about how unemployment affects the whole society. Explanation: In philippine society, the father is considered as the face of the family and a role model who shapes the whole family. The story shows us how unemployment and poverty greatly affects a family, particularly if the father is the one unemployed. The father lost his pride and the ability to speak for himself. I quote, “The devil ate his words.” He lost them all due to the reason that he has no job and can no longer can support his family.

Moral Values I learned from the story “Sinigang” by Marie Aubrey J. Villaceran

Moral values empower us as a human. These values are the basis in almost all religion. Extramarital affairs are relationship between a married person and someone other than his or her husband or spouse.

The moral values that I got from the short story of Sinigang is if we do a mistake we should give time to explain why we did that action. Forgiving is not easy especially if we are really affected by in certain circumstances. And we should give time for them to think and adjust to the situation. As for a side of a person that is really affected we should look and think carefully about the decision we will going to make.

As a 21st Century learner this story has a great impact to me because I’ve seen so many of this cases involved. It brings knowledgeable ideas and lessons that can help me to strengthen my decision and learn to analyze many things and circumstances before doing an action.
